Jerelyn has been married to Don Delak for 43 years. She retired in 2002 from being an educator, Vocational College Administrator and Community Education Director. Since retirement she has learned to quilt, paint in water colors and served as a grant writer for the local Art Center. Her lifetime achievements are many. She has survived 28 years with MS, survived cancer, AARDS, and sepsis all in one year. If she could do anything over it would be to think more about college earlier. Jennette Hughes the Home Ec teacher influenced her in school. Her fun memories of high school were in Home Ec cooking with Carolyn Cash (Sunshine) and “Big Sue” Walsh. |
