She has had several different careers such as installing accounting software on proprietary computers; Controller for a company in St Paul and presently a business owner. She can't even imagine retirement at this juncture of life. She gets to be a 'snow bird' once a year on a winter cruise. Marilyn's lifetime achievement was to return to school at 35 to finish her education while raising 2 teenage daughters as a single mom. Her do-over would be to do the whole senior year over! We had such a fun class and we lived 'the great adventure! Mr. Driver taught her to love social studies and he was also her "drivers ed" teacher and she still has her drivers license to this day. The whole HS experience generated such great memories, pep fests, Homecoming, away games; dances, train trips and finally graduation. |
