McNearney, Diane Emilie Salo Age 73, of Rosemount, Minnesota, passed away December 31, 2018. Preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Esther; and daughter, Mary; and recently her beloved husband of fifty-two years, Donald. Diane is survived by her daughters, Jennifer, Molly, Elizabeth (Scott), son, Thomas (Bella), sister-in-law, Regina, and grandsons, Jesse Logan and Alex. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to everyone. Born on January 24, 1945, Diane graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1963 and married her husband Donald in 1966. She made her home in Rosemount raising her five children in a house filled with love and her home cooking. She also enjoyed opening her home to over fifty exchange students from all around the world. Even with a full home, Diane pursued higher education obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from Metropolitan State University in Special Education in 1992. She was always a strong advocate for those with disabilities and special needs. Diane enjoyed spending her time with friends and family, especially with her dog, Harry; traveling with her husband; gardening; volunteering; being a member of the Red Hats Society; and her weekly cards game. |
