He was a surgeon, retired in 2012 and moved full time to Sedona, AZ. One of his biggest accomplishments has been working with Candy to raise a strong family unit. Mike served in the US Navy. His biggest influences were close friends and dedicated teachers like Lloyd Boone and Arne Johnson. His outstanding memory concerning high school was explaining emergency surgery to Milo Mielke. His expression hinted he wasn’t listening as much as wondering if he had given him a hard time in school! The result fortunately turned out fine. If he could have a do-over it would have done better in shop class. I was always mediocre (shitty, if I’m honest!) |
