Darlene is married and has retired from full time teaching, but still substitute teaches. She taught both elementary and middle schools. She raised 2 great children and is an activist in Education Minnesota. If she could do anything over, she wouldn’t have worked as many hours part-time during school, missing out on lots of activities. Doc Spurrier gave her a life-long love for social studies. Mr. Kremer kept latin classes interesting and gave her a desire to travel among ancient ruins. Her greatest memories of high school was Latin Club, members made her feel welcome. |
