He retired from the Human Resources Management. He moved to Las Vegas the day after the 50th reunion. His biggest lifetime achievement was the planning and opening of Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Dennis served in the US Army. If he could do anything over again it would have been to stay for his senior year and graduate. Ken Dragseth, the guidance counselor, influenced him. His outstanding memory of HS was the refusal of his request to graduate with his class. ……..OBIT: Holman, Dennis Clark was born on October 12th, 1945. He retired in 2013 and moved to Henderson, Nevada, where he died on October 11th, just a few hours short of his 79th birthday. Dennis was the first of four children born to Lorraine and Milbert (Bud) Holman. Dennis attended Robbinsdale High School before further study, earning both BA and MA degrees from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and Mankato, MN. Dennis had one son, Mark Andrew Holman of Mankato. He was predeceased by parents and one brother (Douglas). He is survived by son, Mark; brother Mark (Marcia); and, sister, Suzanne. In addition, he is survived by nephews: Christopher and Jeffrey Holman of Illinois; special friends: Rick Brock, Mary Adams, and a large circle of friends and extended family. Dennis was always quick with a wry sense of humor. His passions were for life-long learning, politics, and spirituality. "Celebration of Life" services will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling, Minneapolis.been to stay for his senior year and graduate. Ken Dragseth, the guidance counselor, influenced him.
