Bloom, Frederick Emer "Fred" age 67, of Golden Valley. A great man who died on Good Friday. He was preceded in death by his father, Emer; mother, Eva; and brother, Richard. Fred is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Mary; his daughter, Katherine and many close family and friends. Fred was a man of extraordinary faith, incredible kindness and love beyond measure. He was a family man and US Navy Veteran who loved fishing, good conversation and was a worthy opponent at card playing. Fred was an avid reader who had a love of people and a great sense of humor. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday, April 6 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 4087 West Broadway, Robbinsdale with visitation at church beginning at 9 AM.
