Sally is married and has 1 son, Brett. She is a Fine Artist specializing in commissioned portraits. She plans to never retire, just continue to paint until she can’t hold a brush! Sally was chosen United Airlines to create portrait drawings of their employees who were lost in the 9-11 terrorist attacks. The portraits were part of a 2002 memorial tribute at United’s World Headquarters. Following the exhibit, United presented the portraits to the victim’s families. The art teachers Ms. Anderson & Mr. Kvam encouraged me to pursue a career in art. A great memory was the National Honor Society’s trip to New York, opening a whole new world of possibilities. |
