Menge, Sheryl Jeanne (Anderson) Dec. 7, 1946 May 6, 2017 Menge, Sheryl Jeanne (Sheri) age 70 of Long Lake passed away unexpectedly May 6, 2017 at her home in Fort Myers, Florida.She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Anderson and sister, Victoria Anderson. Survived by husband, John (married almost 50 years); mother, Jean Hicks (Don); son, J. Eric Menge; daughter, Andrea Tysdal (Darin); grandchildren, Lydia and Elliot Tysdal and Tanner and Makayla Menge; sister, Sandy Soboy (Wayne); sister-in-law Jane Ferro (John) and brother-in-law Jim Menge; many special nieces and nephews as well as other loving relatives and friends. Sheri was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School and then from Gustavus Adolphus College. In 1984, John and Sheri started JEM Technical and spent many years working together to build a successful US manufacturing business. She was at peace working in her beautiful gardens and enjoying the beauty of the north woods at the family "farm" in Aitkin, MN. She especially took joy in being a grandmother, passing on her love of reading books, swimming, boating, the Christmas holiday and the Minnesota Twins. Sheri will be forever loved and missed with her all-encompassing love and affection for all those around her.
