Bio |
Colleen married Gary W. Olson from the class of 1961. She was widowed in 1992 and has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. Colleen worked as a computer programmer analyst at Electric Coop United Power Assoc. of Elk River. In her retirement, she wants to slo-o-ow down. Retire to a remote north woods shack with a trusty canine companion. She has traveled extensively but now she stays near home to keep snow off the roof and the home fires burning. She still loves to help others which feeds her soul and her faith. She still works as a bereavement facilitator for Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. If she had a do-over it would be to join more extra curricular activities. She was influenced in HS by the humorous teachers, friends and situations. Her most outstanding memory of HS was the school lunches and volunteering in the library where the books opened up her world. |
