Let us not forget LCpl William Martin Savoren, a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, CO A 1/9TH MAR 3D MAR DIV, LCPL Savoren served our country until his death in Quang Nam, South Vietnam. William was an Assaultman who died from small arms fire/grenade. His body was recovered. He was 19 years old and was not married........ Cemetery: Ft. Snelling National Cemetery Cemetery Address: 7601 34th Avenue, South Minneapolis, MN 55450 Buried At: Section J Site 120 ............... LCPL Savoren is on panel 03E, line 114 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 2 years. |
