Bio |
Coleah was humbled to receive Meritorious Promotion out of Marine Corps boot camp; she was in the Leatherneck Magazine and Mpls recruiting literature. With the AF Reserve she traveled internationally. She lived in CA, IA, UT, WA, while raising her daughters. Participating in veterans events has been ongoing. As a representative of the parade committee, she sat on a Veterans Day Parade reviewing stand with state and local officials, military officers and recipients of the Medal of Honor (this was another humbling experience). She enjoyed volunteering on Crisis Hotlines and helping others. Toward the end of her working years she earned a Batchelor degree and switched from dealing with the federal govt's strict (and sometimes illogical) regulations; to being paid to think and be creative. High tech environments were very casual (ie: co-workers in shorts and flip-flops). The highlight of her Intel career was working with a group to create the ability to stream audio and video over the Internet. She retired in 2005 to rural north-central MO on 20 acres, w/3 houses.
