Allan was born on August 27, 1945 and passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015. Allan was a resident of Onamia, Minnesota at the time of his passing. He is survived by his wife Marlene. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Mille Lacs Lake Funeral Home in Isle with Rev. Joe Boeringa officiating. Allan Dwayne "Big Al" Kruger of Onamia, MN died on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was 69 years old. Allan was born on August 27, 1945 in Robbinsdale, MN to Roy and Helen (Nordstrom) Kruger. He attended Robbinsdale Elementary and graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1963. On March 21, 1975 he was united in marriage to Marlene Romfo. He and Marlene lived in the Twin City area until moving to Izatys in 2001 where he remained. Allan worked as a carpenter and was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Volunteer Search and Rescue of Mille Lacs County and was a member of the board of directors for Izatys Marina Association. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. He is survived by his wife Marlene; his sons from a previous marriage Mike and Duane; his sisters Sandy (John) Albert and Debra (Randy) Sando. |
